About Caitlin Forster-Coull

I’m an engineer by training and an aspiring product manager by intention.

I studied engineering alongside a degree in international development and began my career in structural engineering before moving into transportation at a large multidisciplinary firm. I’ve also worked with a not-for-profit delivering bridge construction and WASH solutions in developing countries, where I led communications and marketing to help scale impact.

Across every role, I’ve been drawn to problem-solving, systems thinking, and bringing clarity to complexity.

For the past few years, I’ve been actively working towards product management through coffee chats with industry professionals, courses, books, and building my own platforms to experience the role hands-on. I’m highly organised, motivated by challenge, and driven to help products reach their full potential.

I’m now focused on growing as a product manager and contributing to teams building thoughtful, impactful products.

What I bring to product

Systems thinking from engineering

I break complex problems into clear, manageable parts.

Bias for action

I prefer testing, learning, and iterating over waiting for perfect conditions.

Impact-driven mindset

Shaped by international development, I focus on outcomes over outputs.

Hobbies

Outdoors

Travel

Travel is my greatest passion. After visiting 37 countries, I’m still most excited by what I haven’t seen yet. I value the people I meet, the cultures I experience, and the perspective that comes with being somewhere unfamiliar.
